Christophe has created his dream venue at Mas Les Eydins: offering intimate, creative and thoroughly convivial cuisine. Inspired by the Mediterranean and seafood, he also draws on the riches of Provence and the rhythm of the seasons.

For Christophe, cooking is not just about preparing a meal: it is about creating emotion, surprising, stimulating the senses and connecting with his guests. He moves freely between classic techniques and modern creativity, finding a balance between tradition and innovation in every dish.

The chef invites his guests to experience a lively gastronomy that respects the product and nature, where every detail counts: the choice of ingredients, the precision of the cooking, the elegance of the presentation and, above all, the sincerity of every gesture. For him, luxury is not found in excess, but in the attention paid to each plate, each flavour and each moment shared.

Meet Christophe Bacquié The Portrait of the Chief

During his professional career, encounters have been decisive for Christophe. After the Oasis in Mandelieu-La-Napoule, and his Parisian experiences, notably at Prunier, he returned to Corsica and worked there for 12 years at La Villa in Calvi. He thus obtained his first Michelin star in 2002, then a second in February 2007.

In 2008, rewarded by the Relais Gourmand Trophy, he became "Grand Chef" Relais et Châteaux. In 2009, he moved to Provence with Alexandra to the Hôtel & Spa du Castellet and regained his second star in 2010 at the gourmet restaurant. In November 2011, the gourmet restaurant entered the Grandes Tables du Monde.

On February 5, 2018, Christophe entered the very closed circle of triple Michelin stars.

A few months later, he was voted best Chef of the year 2018 by the Trophée du magazine "Le Chef". After the Accueil trophy, Gault & Millau awarded him a score of 19/20 and 5 toques.
